Emma Sherman

Emma Sherman It's very frustrating sitting in classes feeling quite uninterested in the subject matter, thinking to yourself "I know there was a reason I chose to study this!" Indeed I found it hard to feel excited about my A levels and therefore putting in the required effort was a struggle.
As was expected, the results I produced in my June modules of my first year were not of a desirable standard, and on the whole quite disappointing. Knowing that the chance of fulfilling my academic potential, with my attitude as it was, was slim to say the least, it was at that point that I made the decision to acquire my success elsewhere, where I'd be focused and hard working. Having heard of The Tuition Centre and its excellent reputation from numerous friends, who were in the same predicament, I immediately had an interview and enrolled.

The difference was immeasurable and I became a happy, diligent, pupil. For the first time I was taught Chemistry with passion, Maths with excitement and felt a desire to learn Physics. These qualities were instilled in me and the improved attitude towards my work was evident through the constant increase of the results I achieved in the weekly assessments. I was offered unlimited and invaluable assistance whenever needed, and this gave me the encouragement and confidence necessary to attain the grades I did. The atmosphere in The Tuition Centre is friendly and welcoming. Advice is always at hand and a sturdy bridge is provided for those crossing into the world of university. I chose to spend a gap year in Israel, which I am enjoying very much. I think that taking a year out to pursue one's interests is very important and definitely helps in developing a sense of maturity and independence. It also provides just a little more time to decide exactly what one would like to do with one's life, and in which direction one is headed. Next year I will take my place in university to study Optometry.

Through The Tuition Centre I have paved the path to my future, and will undoubtedly carry and treasure the skills I gained throughout my life.
