Results Day at Brampton College

The Department for Education’s Performance Tables were published last week based on exam results achieved in August 2016. We are delighted to announce that Brampton College remains the top performing sixth form college in London for the 16th consecutive year. And compounding that fantastic result, we have also been placed 3rd nationally, climbing up from 4th last year.

As you can see from the table below, the national average point score is 31.79 which equates to a low grade C whereas Brampton College’s score is 43.22, which shows that our students are achieving a grade A/B on average. This is a critical result as ABB is the government measure of good grades which enables entry into most top universities. 60% of our students achieved their first choice university place last year, the majority being Russell Group universities.

Bernard Canetti, Principal, comments, “We are thrilled that our reign as best sixth form college in London continues. Brampton’s ongoing success is very much due to our focus on providing academic excellence combined with the highest standard of pastoral care and individual support. As a result, our students’ confidence is steadily built so they become fully prepared for sitting their exams. These performance tables are a reflection of the outstanding education we provide, which in fact we can say is second to none!”
