Charity Run by A2 Student

Posted: 20th May 2013

Niraj, one of our A2 students has battled through bad health over the past couple of years and has decided to challenge himself by running a 10Km charity run.

‘I suffered from a stroke in my last academic year due to a hole in the heart and the recovery was a long process in which I could not easily be mentally or physically active.
I have chosen to run London’s British 10km for Great Ormond Street Hospital as they deal with young children who are suffering from an array of health problems including some similar to mine.
I see it as a personal challenge to run the London British 10km and to raise money for the hospital as they look after thousands of children each year. I am running for hundreds of children who will suffer from heart defects. To help raise money which can make a change inspires me’

We wish him all the best and if you would like to support him and his chosen charity Great Ormond Street Hospital please follow this link
