Chinese New Year Celebration

The international students celebrated the Chinese New Year together with some of the staff at The Real Beijing restaurant in Hendon.  The food looked and tasted amazing and there was certainly no shortage of chilli. We talked about the 12 animals which represent different years of the Chinese calendar and which animal everyone was according to their birth year. The restaurant was decorated with traditional couplets, which are lines of poetry written in gold on red paper and fixed above the door.
