Congratulations to our GCSE students

Posted: 23rd August 2015

In addition to the A level courses we run at Brampton College there is a small, but successful group of one year GCSE students.
This year we are delighted to announce that over 51% of the results received by the students last week are at A* or A grades. This compares with the national average of 21% A*/A.
Susan Young, Head of GCSE, feels a special mention should go to Giles Afeeva, amongst whose fantastic results were 3A*’s. ‘He has worked extremely hard and used all the advice his teachers have offered. His attendance throughout the year was 100%, and the determination and effort he applied to all his subjects will hold him in great stead for his A level courses’.
We congratulate all the students on their results. Fourteen students are returning to us for A level and we look forward to seeing them again in September.

GCSEs at Brampton College

Daniel’s new-found confidence helped set him up for the past year. A changed and remarkably organised young man – something I’ve never encountered with him before and entirely the doing of Brampton – now has three As and three Bs to go with his A*. He enters A-Levels with you inspired and dedicated.

Brampton is a brilliant college. Your ethos of treating the students as young adults and expecting them to behave as such works wonders. The college gets the balance between work and play right for the best future for the students. The support the students get is phenomenal

All this has helped Anshul become the man he is today.
