A big congratulations to Leora Marcus for completing her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. She is very excited to receive her Gold certificate at Buckingham Palace from Prince Edward.
To complete Gold, Leora fulfilled the requirements of volunteering, practising a skill and physical activity. As well as this, Leora spent 3 weeks in Ghana, completing her residential, and spent 4 days hiking from Northumberland to Scotland. She says it was a great moment as they crossed the Scottish border and bagpipes were playing!
Completing Gold Duke of Edinburgh is a very impressive feat, and Brampton is very proud of Leora.
