The Royal Academy of Art held a life drawing workshop for all the Brampton College art students. Students gained valuable experience. With the life model at the centre of the day’s activities, the programme provides a unique opportunity for young people to explore a wide variety of approaches to drawing as a vehicle for developing their own creativity.

The Royal Academy life drawing workshop provided a unique opportunity to explore the human form in all its natural beauty. The day allowed us to explore one material in depth, meaning that the class could focus its energy on representing the subject. Concentration on the subject was steered by the curious nature of the teacher who let exploration underpin the day, allowing expression to flow through the medium onto the page. This was a valuable experience which I would recommend to any potential Brampton artist.
