For the academic year 2023/2024, we have a limited number of scholarships still available for suitable applicants
We have introduced a formal scholarship scheme which offers an opportunity for outstanding students within the UK, with limited means, to apply to Brampton College and receive financial assistance.
This reflects an aim to open our doors to the wider community and offer more UK students the opportunity to study at London’s top Independent Sixth Form College. Successful applicants will benefit from our fantastic teaching, small class sizes and our focus on individual support and guidance.
Who can apply?
Applicants must be from the UK and should be expecting a minimum of 5 grade 8 or 9’s in their GCSEs, with the remainder grade 7 or above. The scholarships will be awarded to outstanding students applying for a two year A level course, who can demonstrate real enthusiasm for learning and who can make a positive contribution to college life. The scholarships are means tested and will offer a reduction of up to 60%, dependent on family joint income. This will leave a minimum of 40% of fees payable.
What’s the application process?
As a first step please complete the Scholarship Form and return to Pam Glenville, Admissions Secretary, together with a current school report and predicted GCSE grades. We will then write to your school for a reference and predicted grades.
If you are selected for interview, the Bursar will contact you and ask you to complete a detailed ‘Statement of Financial Circumstances’ which will need to be submitted together with supporting evidence.
How are the scholarships awarded?
In addition to an outstanding academic record and a supportive reference, we are looking for students who impress us with their enthusiasm for learning, their extra-curricular interests and the positive contribution we believe they can make to college life.
What are the financial contributions?
To apply, the joint family income must be below £65,000. Contributions towards the college fees, which are currently £21,385 per annum, are decided on the basis of means tested family income, on a scale up to a maximum of 60% of the fees.
When do I need to apply?
There are a limited number of scholarships available so an early application in year 11 is encouraged.
