The initial meeting of the Economics Society was held on Wednesday. Sajnee Karania prepared and chaired the meeting which focussed on whether Scotland should be independent and whether they should be allowed to keep the pound. Lots of opinions were expressed. The society was impressed by Graham Cook’s plan for an independent London with him in charge. Everyone thanked Sajnee for organising the meeting.
The next meeting will be a debate on the economics implication of legalising all recreational drugs.
After what will be six years with the college, our Principal, John Wilson, will be leaving us at the end of the current academic year to take up a new role at a school in Central London. We wish John well and thank him for his exceptional service and contribution to the college and his commitment to our students.
