Celebrating our resident Artists and Photographers

Posted: 13th December 2016

We’re delighted to announce the launch of our Instagram page which will celebrate all things visual here at Brampton College. The work that our Art Department produces on a weekly basis – including 2D, sculpture, multi-media, photography and film – is outstanding and we’d like the opportunity to regularly share it with you.

We’ll also be celebrating an Artist of the Month with you, our first of which is Pooja Halai whose work is featured here . Pooja has completed this large, mixed-media painting inspired by London’s architecture and hectic pace of life. Inspired by the work of Franz Ackermann and Denyse Thomasos, Pooja spent time experimenting with materials before carefully combining collage and painting in different stages to create this densely layered, lyrical composition. Well done Pooja!

New Principal Appointment

We wish John well and thank him for his exceptional service and contribution to the college and his commitment to our students.

We are delighted to announce that Emma Bell, former Head of St James Senior Girls’ School, has been appointed as Principal and will take over from John in August this year.
