GCSE Results Day

Posted: 24th August 2017

Congratulations to our GCSE students on another year of fantastic results.

We spoke to Tatiana Matavele, who just achieved 2A*s and 5As – an incredible achievement, especially considering where she was a year ago.

I’m so happy. I arrived here last year from Botswana, and had missed a year of school. I tried to go back to school then but had missed too much. I was extremely nervous. I thought, ‘I’m not going to make it.’

But when I got here a year ago, I got all the help that I needed. Now I’m going on to study Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Psychology A level, and I’m really excited to come back!”

Congratulations to Tatiana on her amazing achievement.
