Paper 1: Non-Fiction Texts and Transactional Writing

Exam Duration: 2 hours 15 minutes

Weighting: 60% of final grade

● Section A: Reading (45 marks)

Analyse two non-fiction texts (one unseen, one from the anthology). Learn how to interpret tone, language, structure, and ideas across different genres and viewpoints.

● Section B: Transactional Writing (45 marks)

Paper 3: Written Coursework

Two Assignments (30 marks each)

● Assignment A: Poetry and Prose Comparison

● Assignment B: Imaginative Writing
