Brampton College Hosts First Parents’ Coffee Morning — and Launches Call for Parent Ambassadors

Posted: 25th February 2026

A few weeks ago, Brampton College hosted its first Parents’ Coffee Morning, led by Principal John and Vice Principal Lindsay. The event brought together parents from across the college community for an informal morning of conversation, feedback and connection.

The turnout was “fantastic”, with parents sharing their experiences of the academic year so far and offering valuable insights into student wellbeing and progress. Charlotte, from the administration team, added a personal touch by baking a selection of homemade treats that proved extremely popular with attendees.

We were delighted by the positive atmosphere and the thoughtful contributions from parents and intend to run more coffee mornings and community events which will be scheduled throughout the year.

College Calls for Parent Ambassadors

Following the success of the event, Brampton College is now launching a Parent Ambassador initiative — a new programme designed to strengthen the partnership between families and the college.

Brampton is inviting parents who are enthusiastic about community involvement to volunteer as ambassadors. The role includes:

  • Helping to host and welcome families at future coffee mornings
  • Supporting open evenings by speaking to prospective parents and students
  • Sharing authentic experiences of life at Brampton
  • Helping build a warm, supportive parent network

Parent ambassadors will play a key part in shaping the college’s community events and offering new families a genuine insight into the Brampton experience.

Parents who are interested in getting involved will be able to register their interest by contacting the college directly.

Didn’t Attend the Coffee Morning? Your Voice Still Matters

For parents who were unable to attend the January event, Brampton College is still keen to hear your thoughts. Here is a survey to gather wider feedback and ensure all voices are represented.
