Fundraising for the Willow Foundation

Posted: 3rd July 2018

This year the Charity Committee at Brampton have been fundraising for the Willow Foundation. Students were inspired to choose the charity by Kelly, one of our lower sixth students who works for them as a volunteer in her spare time. Willow is the only national charity working with seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40 to fulfil uplifting and unforgettable Special Days. You can read more about their work here.

The committee arranged events for the whole college including bake sales, dress up days, a seasonal secret Santa and a bowling trip. This, along with Vice Principal Sarah Sephton’s charity run raised a total of £1,100. The Brampton Charitable Trust has generously match funded this so a grand total of £2,200 has been donated.
Well done to the committee and all the students and staff for their work and donations!
