Russell studied at the University of Sheffield where he achieved a BA, MA, and Postgraduate Diploma in Education. He has taught for the past four years as a Sociology and History & RE teacher, as well as an EPQ coordinator. Russell is passionate about Sociology about and has sought to instill that same passion for the subject within the students. Having taught multiple subjects, he has used this to support learning and cross curricular links across the A Level Sociology curriculum, developing student quality of work and confidence in academia
