GCSE students have been learning about Law in the PHSE clasess over the last weeks.
The classes worked in pairs on posters to explain what the law is, different types of law and how different cases might be dealt with. The posters were made by the class in their last lesson before half-term so that Joy could judge them on our session last Wednesday.
All students made interesting and well-presented posters and the winners received a small prize in recognition of their hard work. Joy was impressed with the work and with the focus of the students when she explained her work as a magistrate. Thank you to Joy for giving us some very interesting real-life case studies and to the students for their efforts.
Well done to Noon, Zahra, Davina and Pratchi for their winning posters.
After what will be six years with the college, our Principal, John Wilson, will be leaving us at the end of the current academic year to take up a new role at a school in Central London. We wish John well and thank him for his exceptional service and contribution to the college and his commitment to our students.
