Interim Art Show 2019

Posted: 4th March 2019

On Thursday night, Brampton’s second year A level Art and Photography students held an exhibition at 5th Base Gallery in Shoreditch, East London, highlighting their current work. Each student has been developing a personal project since September 2018 and this work is the culmination of their research and development. Students worked as a curatorial team and led the installation process, considering the layout of the work in the space.

A large number of parents, family, friends and staff enjoyed viewing the art in a professional gallery setting.

Bernard Canetti, Principal said

The interim exhibition was a wonderful event and hugely successful. Such exciting work on display and there was a great buzz and sense of excitement. In particular it’s so clear that the students are having such a good experience studying art and photography, which is really fantastic to see.

I have to say that I feel hugely proud of the art department and the work that you all do and especially the huge effort in preparing for the event, as well as making it all happen on the day itself”.
