This afternoon saw the college’s first Freshers’ Fair take place, where new students were introduced to the wide range of extra and co-curricular activities that the college has on offer this year. Lots of first year students attended where they were briefed on what each activity involves by members of the Student Council and Reps who had taken part in the clubs last year.
There are a number of exciting, new extra-curricular activities this year, including a newly formed LGBTQ+ Community group and an Entrepreneurs Club which will operate alongside the Young Enterprise scheme. With health and wellbeing in mind, Yoga will also be part of the extra-curricular programme this year.
Students were given the opportunity to suggest what additional activities they’d like to be introduced, and there were many good suggestions, including more music clubs. The donuts on offer were excellent too!
