Fieldwork is a compulsory component of both Geography and Biology A levels. For Geography, it can form part of their coursework and for Biology it forms part of the practical endorsement. In order to meet this requirement, the Geography and Biology departments attended a joint fieldwork day on Wednesday 5th June at Camber Sands in East Sussex. The fieldwork excursion provided students with first hand experience of sampling a coastal sand dune system. The weather was kind and the students all had a successful day of collecting data.
