GCSE students headed to Southend to investigate coastal processes and the impact of coastal management in the area. A number of field methods were implemented, measuring beach profile, sediment analysis along with questionnaires to consider the opinion of stakeholders. The group worked wonderfully to safely collect data during low tide and examined the results back in class.
