Our Courses

Mathematics A Level at Brampton 

 

On our two year A Level course, all students study three core areas across both Years 1 and 2: 

 

  • Pure Mathematics (2/3 of the course) 
  • Statistics (1/6 of the course) 
  • Mechanics (1/6 of the course) 

 

Mathematics A Level builds a solid foundation in pure mathematics across topics including mathematical modelling, algebra, calculus, trigonometry. The applied units of Statistics and Mechanics include probability distribution modelling and analysis of forces and motion, enhancing analytical and logical thinking crucial for STEM careers. 

 

 

 

Further Mathematics A Level at Brampton 

 

Designed for exceptional maths students, this course allows learners to complete the full Mathematics A Level in the first year. In the second year, students go on to study: 

  • Two additional units of Further Pure Mathematics 
  • Two Applied units (typically one Statistics and one Mechanics) 

 

Ideal for those aiming to study Maths, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science at top universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, and Imperial College. 

 

 

 

One-year Intensive A Level Mathematics at Brampton
