My first few weeks at Brampton College

Sophia Thomas started her GCSEs with us in September. She tells us about her first few weeks here and how she’s already feeling more confident.

I have been attending Brampton College for about a month now. As a student re-taking GCSEs, I first thought my time here would be hard. I thought that the students who were taking their GCSEs for the first time might look down on me, and wouldn’t want to associate with me, and that the teachers would treat me differently.

However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that everyone at Brampton is truly friendly and won’t hesitate to help you if you are in need! The teaching here is amazing and, due to small classes, you feel you can always ask for help.

Also I have found that the fortnightly records are very helpful. Firstly they stop you from slacking and secondly, any problems in any subjects are immediately identified. I am very glad my parents enrolled me here. I can already tell that with Brampton’s help, it’s possible for me to do really well!
