This year a larger than usual group of G1 students joined Brampton College to complete their GCSEs in a one year course. It has been a very busy and demanding year but the group bonded well and students provided great support to each other. After weeks of examinations the academic year finished with a small lunch, the presentation of certificates and some fun and photo in Sunny Hill Park. Students were awarded certificates in relation to their commitment to and completion of work and their general attendance and punctuality throughout the year. Three bronze, seven silver and four gold awards were presented. Congratulations should go to all students but a special mention needs to go to Josh Olaifa who achieved 403 out of a possible 425 points.
After what will be six years with the college, our Principal, John Wilson, will be leaving us at the end of the current academic year to take up a new role at a school in Central London. We wish John well and thank him for his exceptional service and contribution to the college and his commitment to our students.
We are delighted to announce that Emma Bell, former Head of St James Senior Girls’ School, has been appointed as Principal and will take over from John in August this year.
