Photography student captures fleeting moments

Matthew Tsui, studying A level Photography, has been creating work inspired by Harold Edgerton’s famous movement photography. Harold Edgerton invented the stroboscope, which we now recognize as the flash used in modern cameras. Using a studio flash, Matthew has frozen time at a speed of 1/3000 of a second, producing these images that capture fleeting moments in extraordinary detail.
Join us at our OPEN EVENING on 18th June, 6-7.30pm.

The evening will consist of a talk from the Principal, a tour of the College and the opportunity to meet subject teachers. For students interested in an A level or GCSE course in September 2025 or September 2026.
