Last Thursday, Brampton College opened its doors to an enthusiastic crowd of over 145 guests for our October Open Evening — a wonderful opportunity for prospective students and their families to experience the warmth, energy, and academic excellence that define our sixth form.
A highlight of the evening was a heartfelt address by Lindsay, Vice Principal, whose speech perfectly captured the spirit of Brampton College and the unwavering commitment of our staff. Her words resonated deeply with guests, reflecting our dedication to both academic achievement and personal growth.
We were also delighted to welcome back a former student, who delivered an inspiring speech about his time at Brampton and the support he received throughout his studies. Now studying Medicine at university, he spoke with warmth and gratitude about the College’s impact on his academic journey. His mother then stood to share a moving perspective as a proud parent, offering an authentic and touching insight into the Brampton experience. We extend our sincere thanks to them both for taking the time to speak and inspire our future students and their families.
Our current student ambassadors also played a vital role throughout the evening, offering friendly tours of the College and sharing their own experiences of life at Brampton. Their enthusiasm and willingness to engage with visitors helped create an authentic and welcoming atmosphere that reflected the true spirit of our college community.
Throughout the College, staff went above and beyond to create engaging and interactive subject stations, offering visitors a genuine insight into the Brampton learning experience. Their enthusiasm and flexibility contributed to an inspiring and lively atmosphere that truly showcased the best of our community.
The response from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing strong interest in joining Brampton College — and a few eager to enrol on the spot! It was a powerful reminder of the lasting impression our College continues to make.
